Daniel Casas Valle works on projects in cities and urban environments in a creative and communicative way. He does research and design projects on different scales in the field of urban design and planning. In his projects there is always an interaction with other disciplines like architecture, landscape architecture and traffic engineering. From the home base Porto, Portugal, linked with Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Daniel Casas Valle stretches his area of design from the level of a street to regional planning. Daniel Casas Valle worked as a project leader and designer on many projects in the field of urbanism at the CIE, architecture and planning, Must urbanism and the municipality of Amsterdam. He was involved in projects like urban plans, master plans, reconstruction areas and regional designs on different locations in the Netherlands, Portugal, China and Romania. In parallel, he was always involved with education activities at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam and at other universities in Europe.
